Why Can't The Air Conditioner Replace The Dehumidifier?

The main function of the air conditioner is refrigeration and heating. The air conditioner with independent dehumidification function can dehumidifier, but the dehumidification rate is very small, the speed of dehumidification is slow, and the cold air is blowing, the more cold it is. In addition, the electronic air conditioner is fixed and installed, and can only dehumidification in a small area. More importantly, when the air conditioner is dehumidifying independently, it needs to increase the load of several times, not only the power consumption is large, but also the compressor will be damaged. The life of the machine is shortened, so the air conditioner should not be replaced by the dehumidifier.

The air conditioner has the function of dehumidification. However, because the air conditioner is designed according to the function of adjusting the air temperature, the air volume is larger and the evaporation temperature is not very low. Therefore, the surface temperature of the evaporator is not very low, and the dehumidification volume is limited.

When air is exposed to below its dew point temperature, it will coagulate and achieve dehumidification. That is, the lower the evaporation temperature, the smaller the air volume and the longer the contact time between air and evaporator, the greater the dehumidification volume.

Because the air volume of the air conditioner is large, the wind speed is large, and the contact time between the air and the evaporator is short. Meanwhile, the water droplets that have been condensed on the evaporator may be blown into the room again.

At the same time, as the design of the air conditioner has higher evaporation temperature, it also reduces the dehumidification amount.
